Frequently Asked Questions
How is it done?
We push it! Paintless Dent Removal is achieved using careful gradual leverage with metal rods.
How do you push it?
By getting behind the dent, 99% of dents are removed by gaining access to the blind side. E.g. through the window gap to
get to a door dent.
Will it affect the paintwork?
No. If the dent is pushed correctly then the paint remains unnaffected.
What happens if my paint is already slightly damaged?
PDR involves no refinshing whatsoever. If the paint is missing it is feasible that the dent can still be removed. The paint will remain the same.
Is my paint damaged?
If there's a mark ON the paint and not IN the paint then it can usually be machine polished. If the mark is IN the paint then it will often remain.
The way to test the depth of a mark is to see if your fingernail falls into it.
Do I have to stay home?
We will go to the vehicle at home, work or anywhere within 50 metres of a plug socket.
Do you just fix cars?
We will fix cars, lorries, vans, motorbike tanks, freezers, caravans and even garage doors!
How far do you travel?
The benefit of being independent is that we don't have an area set in stone. We will consider most areas but ideally south-east London
and near to Kent. If the job sounds feasible we can travel, however it may cost more if you are miles away.
How big a dent can you remove?
This has a serious scope as all dents are individual and unique. Average dents are between coin size and hand size. However we've fixed
entire panels all the way down to the size of a stone chip. It all depends on what's behind the panel and what the panels are made of.
